Quick Start Guide

Power Management Features

The Power Options control panel in Windows (see page 1 - 13) allows you to configure power management fea-

tures for your computer. You may conserve power through individual components such as the monitor or hard

disk (by means of Power Schemes), or you may use either Standby or Hibernate mode to conserve power

throughout the system (enable Hibernate support from the control panel as pictured in

Figure 1 - 9). Using

some form of power management greatly increases the life span of the LCD.
